General description

We have assessed a large number of genetic, behavioral, biological, and environmental risk factors as well as pathophysiological mechanisms for overweight, type 2 diabetes, atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal diseases, psychic problems, dementia, and oral health problems since fetal period and until adolescence. We have performed most of the assessments in all three phases of the study, including baseline in 2007-2009, 2-year follow-up in 2009-2011, and 8-year follow-up in 2016-2017.
